NT Youth Round Table

Stand up, speak out, be heard!

Each year, young people aged between 15 to 25 years are selected to take part in the Northern Territory (NT) Youth Round Table (Round Table). They represent the geographic, cultural and diversity of the NT.

Being part of the Round Table is a great opportunity for young people to:

  • develop their leadership skills
  • get involved in community life
  • have their say on important topics that impact young Territorians.

Since its establishment in 1997, over 400 members have actively participated in a wide variety of activities, committees and projects.

2025 NT Youth Round Table Executives

Each year, the Round Table elects a Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, and Marketing and Communications Coordinator to form the NT Youth Round Table Executive team. This team works closely with the Office of Youth Affairs and has additional responsibilities, including representing the Round Table in the media and at events, contributing to meeting agendas, maintaining minutes, and creating engaging social media and marketing content to showcase the Round Table’s activities and engagements.

The 2025 NT Youth Round Table Executive Team are:

  • Vice Chair (North): Ryan Carpenter, 16, Darwin
  • Vice Chair (South): Xuan Le, 16, Central Australia
  • Secretary: Esther Klerck, 16, Central Australia
  • Marketing and Communications Coordinator: Aidan McGregor, 15, Darwin
