2026 NT Youth Week Ambassador biography: Abhineet Nirmal

Abhineet Nirmal is passionate about sparking curiosity and empowering young people through technology, stories and learning. He hosts the Young & Curious podcast and loves exploring how digital tools and AI can make education and wellbeing more accessible.

As an NT Youth Week ambassador, Abhineet hopes to promote digital inclusion and design programs that bridge school‑to‑work pathways while creating safe and welcoming spaces for all young people. He is excited to grow his skills in media, project management and policy advocacy to make a real difference for his peers.

Abhineet is a full‑time student at Charles Darwin University and works as a student success advisor, supporting fellow students to thrive. He is actively involved with the Engineering Student Society, IT Student Association and events like GovHack and CDYou’s Got Talent.
