2025 NT Youth Round Table biography - Peter Susanto

Mr Peter Susanto, a Doctor of Medicine student and 2024 Northern Territory Young Australian of the Year, is a passionate advocate for education, health, and community development.

He has led initiatives like “Peter’s Little Library” and mentored young people in coding, while also organising youth crime awareness campaigns. Peter is deeply involved in the Northern Territory’s youth advocacy scene and has represented Australia at international forums, including COP29 in 2024.

Having graduated with a Bachelor of Clinical Sciences from Charles Darwin University in 2024, his priorities for the Northern Territory Youth Round Table include improving educational pathways, advocating for sustainable economic development, and addressing youth crime. Peter aims to continue his work in advocating for social change and empowering young people across the Northern Territory.
