2025 NT Youth Round Table biography - Arjumand Khan

Mr Arjumand Khan, Year 10 student in Darwin High School, is a passionate advocate for public service and youth empowerment. Actively involved in academic competitions and community initiatives, including volunteering with the United Muslims of Northern Territory, Arjumand brings strong leadership, event management, and public speaking skills to the table.

He is committed to addressing mental health, youth crime, and social issues, and aims to influence government policies by amplifying youth voices. His priorities include promoting reading culture, encouraging healthy lifestyles, and improving access to outdoor spaces for youth in Darwin.

Arjumand plays club cricket for Waratahs Cricket Club and has served as a school captain in Year 9 for Darwin Middle School. He has been a regular participant in the UN Youth NT Conference.
