2027 NT Sports Awards – Nominations are now open!
Celebrate the athletes, coaches, officials, and volunteers making NT sport shine. Submit your nominations via the Nomination Portal Submissions close at midday on the 1st of December 2026.
The Northern Territory (NT) Sports Awards recognise the achievements of athletes, coaches, sporting officials and volunteers.
Past award winners include Olympians, Commonwealth games champions and those who have excelled at the highest level in national and international competitions.
The awards recognise achievements within local Territory-based, national and international sporting competitions.
Managed by the Department of People, Sport and Culture, the awards provide an opportunity for the community and sector to nominate in 14 categories.

- Regional Performance of the Year
- Volunteer of the Year Award
- Official of the Year Award
- Eric Johnston Coach of the Year Award
- Team of the Year Award

- Masters Sportsperson of the Year Award
- Junior Sportsperson of the Year Award
- Sportsperson of the Year Award
