The countdown is on for NT Youth Week 2025, and this year marks a special milestone: 25 years of celebrating and empowering young people across the Northern Territory.
With the theme ‘Lift Up Your Voice’, NT Youth Week 2025 invites young Territorians to speak up, share their stories, and advocate for positive change. Running from Friday 4 April to Wednesday 16 April, the week-long celebration will highlight the creativity, skills, and leadership of youth through a vibrant program of events and activities.
This year also saw record interest in the Youth Week Ambassador Program, with 29 applications received. Seven young Territorians aged 16 to 22 have been selected as 2025 NT Youth Week Ambassadors, bringing fresh ideas and local insight to help shape the program and inspire participation across the Territory.
2025 NT Youth Week Ambassadors:
- Amina Salha, 22 – Darwin
- Pak Chan, 16 – Darwin
- Jason Ramsamy, 18 – Darwin
- Oliver Wurst, 16 – Darwin
- Elizabeth Roy, 21 – Palmerston and Rural

Throughout Youth Week, Ambassadors will work alongside the Office of Youth Affairs to support event planning, encourage community engagement, and promote the importance of youth voices in shaping the Territory’s future.
From music and arts to workshops, sports, and leadership forums, the Youth Week calendar will offer something for everyone, creating safe, inclusive spaces for young people to connect, learn, and thrive.
