NT Youth Round Table wraps up for 2025
The 2025 NT Youth Round Table officially wrapped up in December, with members presenting their final projects to Ministers, executives, family and friends.
This year’s presentations covered a broad range of issues that matter to young people in the Territory, including climate action, education, rural transport, youth mental health and cultural connection. Each project reflected lived experience and a strong commitment to creating positive change in local communities.
Since 1997, the round table has provided a valuable platform for young Territorians aged 15 to 25 to have their voices heard at the highest levels of government. The program is delivered by the Office of Youth Affairs and it supports personal development and leadership, helping participants grow skills in communication, advocacy and public speaking.
'One year ago, I applied to the NT Youth Round Table. Little did I know how much the round table would change my perspective, my confidence, and my goals. I have found friends, hope, and made core memories. This has been the most important experience of my life.' – Esther Klerck, Secretary, 2025 NT Youth Round Table
Thank you to everyone across the department and the Office of Youth Affairs who contributed to the success of this year’s Round Table. Your support helps ensure the program remains a powerful opportunity for young people to shape the future of the NT.
We look forward to welcoming the 2026 members in the new year and sharing more highlights as the program continues.
