Harmony Soiree and Big Day Out in Harmony

Published

The countdown is on for one of Darwin’s most colourful community events - the Harmony Soiree - returning to the Darwin Waterfront on Saturday 31 May from 4:30pm to 8:30pm.

Organised by the Office of Multicultural Affairs, in partnership with Darwin Waterfront, Darwin Community Arts, and the Multicultural Council of the NT, this free evening event will feature:

  • live music and dance performances from 25 cultural groups
  • community stalls representing over 15 countries
  • delicious food from around the world
  • a children’s lantern decorating competition
  • a vibrant multicultural fashion parade
  • a twilight lantern release into the lagoon.

The Harmony Soiree is a celebration of the Territory’s rich cultural diversity - and a chance to experience something new, whether it’s a performance you haven’t seen, a dish you haven’t tasted, or a story you haven’t heard.
