Expressions of interest open for MAGNT board
We’re calling for expressions of interest to join the board of the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory (MAGNT).
3 positions are currently open, including the role of chairperson, for a 3-year term.
MAGNT is the Northern Territory’s premier cultural organisation, responsible for inspiring, preserving, and sharing the Territory’s unique art, science, history, and heritage. The board plays a key role in setting the strategic direction and ensuring strong governance for MAGNT’s 7 sites across Darwin and Central Australia.
We are seeking candidates with governance experience and skills in areas such as:
- Northern Territory art, history, and cultural heritage
- Aboriginal cultural heritage
- Natural science and research
- Business, finance, or law
- Tourism, marketing, or community engagement
